Helping Families Throughout The South Since 1974

Service Loan South is dedicated to helping families make ends meet, and we have been since 1974.

At one of our branches, you’ll be able to get a personal loan for up to $1500 to help with bills, pay for an emergency, purchase a big ticket item, buy school clothes–and more.

Whether you’re going through an emergency and need a hand up or you’ve got seasonal expenses, we’re here to help.

We Don’t Just Give Loans

Service Loan South was founded to help families, and one of the best ways to do that is to raise up our local communities.

We believe in being good civil servants and giving back to communities we call home by participating in their local Chamber of Commerce, American Cancer Society, Boys and Girls Clubs, Jaycees, Lions Club, VFW, and numerous charitable organizations.

We also support public schools and their athletic programs, recreational league teams, booster clubs, Boy and Girl Scout troops, local businesses and churches of all denominations.

Our branch managers and assistant branch managers live, work, and raise families in those communities, and are avid supporters of youth sports, local schools, local publications, and other vital parts of their local community.

Helping People Understand Finance

Service Loan South believes it is our duty to educate and provide financial counseling to our youth and adult customers about responsible borrowing through installment loans, rather than other forms of short term lending that entrap consumers in an endless cycle of debt.

As part of our dedication to helping local communities, Service Loan South offers a wealth of personal finance education resources for young people, college students, and our local schools.

If you think your child or student would benefit from learning about how credit, savings, and checking accounts work, we’re here to help.
